Had the misfortune of doing an evening with Ossie Ardiles and Micky Hazard, Ossie to be fair nice guy with great Tevez stories, Hazard thinks he’s Bob fuckin Monkhouse .
Anyway we do an auction 2 Harry Kane items and a Pat Jennings signed testimonial programme. The giraffe tongue ones items sold well, the Pat Jennings item did not receive a single bid despite a paltry £35 reserve, tried geeing them up but it became apparent they had no iffinity with their tradition past or history, it meant nothing to them! The difference between us and them as fans is unfortunately as wide as the gulf between us as teams! I’ve done loads of these and without a shadow West Ham fans are truly unique, we get our club more than any set of supporters I’ve ever met!

Pat Jennings was a great keeper.

I know a few Spuds fans in their late 40's they know their stuff very well, I think the Jennings programme never got sold because they see him as Arsenal.

whats the story with Ardiles, why not just post it up if its so funny???
They play some good football under Poch and have a decent squad, maybe there best for a good few years.
Im looking forward to the summer when the big clubs plunder them for that manager and better players, expect Real Madrid are checking and selecting a few from there "Feeder" Club.

It is strange that two geographically very close clubs can be so far apart in the personality of their support base... I'm pleased we are though.
If given a choice of having fans like ours with our team or their team but fans like theirs, I'd choose us all day long.
